Boston, MA, March 29, 2023— QMENTA, Inc. announced today that John E. Kelly III, PhD has been appointed to the company's Board of Advisors. Dr. Kelly joins the QMENTA Board of Advisors with more than 40 years of experience in the Information Technology (IT) industry. He has deep technical expertise in all areas of IT, as well as broad experience in applying it to numerous industries, including healthcare and life sciences.
Dr. Kelly retired from IBM at the end of 2020, having held numerous technical and business leadership positions with the company, including SrVP IBM Research and Executive Vice President. During his career he led numerous technology breakthroughs from semiconductors, to supercomputers, to IBM’s Watson Artificial Intelligence (AI) platform, to Quantum Computing, in addition to growing numerous businesses such as Cybersecurity. He fostered innovation globally expanding research to 12 Labs in 10 countries, and drove invention including IBM’s 28 years of U.S. patent leadership. Dr. Kelly continues to consult for numerous large and small technology companies which he feels have the opportunity to change the world.
Dr. Kelly is a member of the National Academy of Engineers (NAE), a Fellow of the IEEE, and has received many of technology industry’s highest awards.
